Dear Peter, Obama just requested the US Assembly to give him power to scrap a 109 years old American Government Establishment, the Department of Commerce.... If I know Americans and Obama well, They will. Americans work on a very simple premise which I have reiterated several times on this fora... It is, "Let's do the difficult now, the IMPOSSIBLE, takes time." Ameriacans in 109years could not see anything wrong with the Department of Commerce until a Blackman came into the White-House, like I said, The US Assembly will give him the go ahead and that is 109 years history of IMPOSSIBLE going down the drain..... On the other hand, Our President, the 1st overwhelmingly elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, saw a 1985 error(just yesterday), and has summoned courage to fight the 1000 persons who have held this nation ransom(pls ask NZERIBE for the list) and we are all ready to shut the country down..... Including you. Habaaa. Educated Nigerians are fighting well intentioned Government Policy because today a poor man has cxlimbed our leadership saddle and dont want to play the ostritch with the life and future of people who sincerely gave him their mandate? How then do we get to the enviable "Becoming one of the 20th largest ECONOMY in the world? be pretending we can still manage the continued lies we have been leaving since Obasanjo gave us in 1979 a Vibrant country with the Prospect of becoming a great nation at a time the Dollar was 1 to a Naira? and came back 20 years later to meet the same country in COMA in 1999? He tried and brought it back to life in a terain known as Democracy he was too militarised to grasp with, yet he still left us with a fat account(gone now to service subsidy). The SHOE-LESS man from Otueke is in Charge, he comes from a Community where these 40 or so companies that has HELL the whole country ransome(not Kuti) since 1985 cannoy carry on business as usual.....If the west dont understand this CABAL, we do, If North dont understand, we do, If the East dont understand we do. This CABAL, CARTEL, CORPORATIONS or individuals who are so wealthy and seemingly untouchable could not be brought to book by General Obasanjo (West), the man who grew in it, and knows the pains it will bring to all of us soon, with no military background is fighting it ARMLESS... please we only need to shame these CABAL by doing the DIFFICULT now, resurface the TRUE African spirit and stand beside the man who has taken up the gauntlet at the risk of his personal life, his reputation as the most popular President surrounded like we all know by wolves waiting for the MASSES to shout crucify him and like the Pharasees...they are lurking behind to cast the 1st stone on INNOCENT Jonathan.... Like always, GOOD, triumph over EVIL, Like Democracy, there is no substitute for GOODLUCK..... I stand to affirm that any Nigerian below the age of 40 who calls for GOODLUCK's head shall be visited with all the plaques in the Holy Books. That means BADluck. Lets pray for better resolutions this morning.
POST SUBSIDY
The economy is near commatose, and a sitting president saw it comming and has to take a decisive step.
Obama was unpopular when he decided to take on the Almighty NYSE. Yesterday he declared a 200,000 jobs in the U.S.
There is need for economic emergency as we need security emergency. How come we Nigerians are choosing not to see beyond our noses...
We have a situation on our hands. I for one wa...nts to stop pretending. stop playing ostritch when we all know we are all PRISONERS agreeing to die in prison than test freedom.
I am reverting my facebook to black and white hand drawn potrait in solidarity with 95% of Nigerians who are "subsistence" thinkers. Lets eat everything today mentallity.
5% of Nigerians must know that if we decide to eat our harvested yams and cannot wait for 6months for another New Yam, then there is no NEW YAM FESTIVAL again. Its sad indeed that we all allow things to get to this level. Funny enough, the real dramatis personae can leave this country and return back to buy us biscuits & chewing gum... that's if we have not all killed ourselves before doomsday..Subsidy should go.

The Lion & The Antelope
There are two kinds of people in the world:
Those who are born into the the LION'S Family
And Those born into the ANTELOPE'S Family!
If you belong to the Antelope family,
Sttart running before its day-break!
If not you will be BREAK-FAST for the LION and her cubs!
But....
You deserve a second explanation on the Lion & Antelope story:
Whether you are a Lion or Antelope is not in anyway Superior or Inferior!
Even when you are born with all life conveniences at your disposal, you still lack!
The alegorical interpretation (appology Mr John Ochagu) is who dont have silver-spoon thrust into their mouth from birth, have deviced other means of survival strategies.
Any illussion or lethargy that we have arrived at, will return us back to our status quo!
The morale of the story is that we should continue to live day by day believing that we can do more than what we may have already done.
LION OR ANTELOPE both have their Challenges and non is easier ask them youn will know....
Now that everything has come to a head the populace(Antelope) is behaving like they never new the (Lion) must continue to feed on the Antelopes for their Breakfast Lunch and Dinner....
I wonder how many ANTELOPES Noah took with him for the period the Flood (Deluge) lasted for the Lion's daily meals? I wonder, I just wonder....you nko?

HOW TO COPE WITH GRIEF & LOSS OF A LOVED ONE
BY: DALENE MADU
1. Find support. There is nothing worse than being alone when you are in pain and grieving the loss of a loved one. Finding support from friends and family members -- and/or outside support from a therapist or grief group -- is absolutely critical. I cannot tell you how wonderful it felt for me when I told the news to my boyfriend and he immediately stopped what he was doing and embraced me. I thought I was okay, but when I felt his arms around me, I knew that I'd been in desperate need of that hug. It's important to grieve in your own way -- and sometimes that means being alone -- but especially in the initial stages of loss, it's essential to surround yourself with people who love and support you.
2. Look after yourself. When you're grieving, it can be hard to remember to take care of yourself. You're dealing with pain and stress and a myriad of emotions that you may not have experienced before. Accept that you are hurting, but don't allow yourself to stop caring for your physical body. Get as much rest as you possibly can. Eat food that will make you feel energize and healthy. Spend time meditating, walking, or taking a long bath -- anything that will leave you feeling more relaxed. It's easier to let things slide when you're upset, but being in an unhealthy, exhausted physical state will make your emotional pain much more magnified.
3. Let yourself feel. If you're anything like me, it's tempting to shut down when hard emotions come along, pushing them to the back of your mind and plowing through life appearing unaffected. Clearly this is not a healthy way to do things (believe me, I know!). It's important to let yourself experience all of the emotions you feel -- anger, hurt, loss, pain, etc. -- and fully experience them. Don't let others tell you how you should or shouldn't feel. Embrace your emotions and remind yourself that it's perfectly okay to feel the way you do. Dealing with loss, I've found, really brings up some odd feelings, but that's okay. You're allowed to feel however you want to feel (now, how you act on those feelings is a different story...).
4. Seek an outlet. I really believe you are entitled to feel whatever the hell you want to feel whenever the hell you want to feel it. That being said, you cannot always act on those emotions. Just because you are angry that a loved one has died doesn't mean you can lash out at loved ones that are still alive. Which is why you need an outlet. Whatever you love to do -- writing, painting, biking, soccer, bowling, etc, etc, etc. -- do it. Find a way to take your emotions and express them in a positive, healthy way. For example, writing's kinda my thing so I'm going to use that as an outlet (see below) to express how I feel about the loss of Jan. Writing really helps me to express my emotions in a positive way. Find what works best for you and do it.
5. Remember the good times. What always bums me out about funerals is all the black, all the sadness, the wet eyes and the sniffling noses. Of course, it's okay (and necessary) to be sad, but focusing on the loss instead of the great life that was lived has always seemed like a bit of a downer practice. Jan's friends and family put together a wonderful celebration of life ceremony, complete with uplifting poems, laugh-out-loud stories, and touching memories. Yes, there were certainly some tears shed, but I left the service thinking, "Wow, Jan had a great life filled with amazing memories and loving friends and family." It was so nice to celebrate her life -- remembering the good times -- instead of mourning her loss. Focusing on the positive makes such a difference.
6. Celebrate life. One of the things we can take away from a loss is a reminder to celebrate our own lives. As death reminds us: life is short. This is something we easily forget when we're healthy and living and going about our day-to-day lives. Take time when you're grieving to remind yourself that life is pretty awesome -- and it's also not infinite. Times of grief should also be times of celebration -- for the lives others have lives, for the lives we're still living. It might seem selfish or unfair to celebrate life when someone has recently lost a life, but it's not. It's most likely exactly what he or she would have wanted you to do.

Goodluck To Environment
Nigerian Election 2011, held in April, coinciding with the World Earth Day is a sure message that Nigerians have voted massively for incumbent President with a mandate to put environmental discuss in the front burner of his in-coming administration, making it impossible for the President to deny them the dividend of democracy that can be expressed through robust policies and programmes on environment where by birth and training, he has great advantage.
President Goodluck says he can take decisions others cant take because he is not propelled by agrandisement or wealth acquisition. he had better get used to this idea, because current challenges in the environmental sector will require that he takes far reaching decisions to save the environment and the many unsuspecting Nigerians from self-suicide.
More than ever before, Nigerians are daily been confronted with extreme environmental difficulties arising from years of neglect and deliberate human activities that has gradually but surely put Nigeria on the map of countries that require urgent steps to address and arrest this monumental challenge.
Climate Change and its attendant problems, environmental degradation that has resulted in such extremes as desertification, devastating floods, severe droughts, erosion, bush-burning, deforestation, menace of water-weeds(Water-Hyacinths), bad sanitation habit through improper waste management and crowded living, will require Mr. President to take a giant leap of faith and his ability to swallow the hard pill of practical demonstration of his ability to take far reaching actions towards making the environment safe for all of us.
With a Honourary Fellowship of the Nigerian Environmental Society, Fellowship of the International Association of Impact Assessment (IAIA) as well as Member of Fisheries Society of Nigeria (FISON), President Goodluck is goodluck to environment as his personal and professional career is most suitable for an informed urgent decision on the environment. It is also on record that our Elected President has served as a Preventive Officer and, Environmental Protection Officer in his early years. Mr. President holds a Master Degree in Hydro-Biology and has once served as Director with defunct OMPADEC (Oil Minerals Producing Areas Development Commission), now Niger-Delta Development Commission, (NNDC) under the Directorate of Environmental Protection and Pollution Control where he was in charge of the affairs of the environmental protection sub- Department.
We believe that his experience will become a factor if environment will receive its fair share of pragmatic government policies and proactive steps in tackling the challenges and transformation expected.
President Jonathan has scored a first in organising a free and fair election and Nigerians in their millions voted massivelly for Mr. Environment.

Subsidy & othe Terms Defined
WHAT IS ALL THIS OSTREPEROUS, HULLABALO AND DIN ABOUT TERMS WE CANNOT UNDERSTAND IN OUR DIALECTS? SUBSIDY, DEREGULATION, PRIVATIZATION, COMMERCIALIZATION & MONETIZATION? I sought the help of standard bearers in English and here is what they have to say.
In view of the understanding or misunderstanding of terms been used in the light of the present imbroglio among Nigerians in the c-RISES some exp...lanations is urgently needed. This is in view of the fact that a popular musician once sang: “Grammar(English) no be our Language” Another very popular musician during the (NLC/TUC) Jamboree here in Lagos simply puts it, “Mi ngbo Oyinbo” (I don’t understand English). So this my little contribution.
• SUBSIDY
Money Given By Government: a grant or gift of money from a government to a private company, organization, or charity to help it to function.
Help With Expenses: a monetary gift or contribution to somebody or something, especially to pay expenses
• Money wei government give private company (another person, no be your own) or organization or free money to help government work.
CBN Governor (Sanusi Lamido) Now Live on Channels TV just said “No more father Christmas.”
• DEREGULATION
Free From Regulation: to free something such as an organization or industry from regulation
• PRIVATIZATION
Take Something Out Of State Control: to transfer to private ownership an economic enterprise or public utility that has been under state ownership.
• COMMERCIALIZATION
Apply Commercial Principles To Something: to apply business principles to something or run it as a business.
Use For Profit Only: to exploit something for financial gain
• LIBERALIZATION
Reform: to reform and become less strict, or reform something and make it less strict
• MONETIZATION
Convert Debt Into Available Money: to convert a government debt into available currency, especially by issuing securities.

WHY ADAMS OSHIOMOLE GOT WISE ON SUBSIDY MATTERS
Egypt didnt know the pains of subsidy, they brought down Egypt, Libya's Gadafi turn his Desert home town to a city and pass an artificial water across his country dry dessert, only for a smallboy to shoot him in his own village with a golden pistol, Saddam Hussein became a sad man towards thje end of his life, they have to dig him out of a hole and the Iraqs themselve sentenced him to death by hanging; Let me dwell a little longer on SadMan Saddam. Reports confirms that a 9years old an an 11 year old who saw the sneaked out video of how Sadman Saddam was hanged, reportedly practiced hanging and died. The world was shocked except few of us....Why would under age kids hanged themselves practicing hanging?....."Mind-set" SAdman Saddam and the other leaders has over the years turned arround a people's thinking to believe that anything outside them is worst than hell... Becuase they have spent their lives indoctrinating the citizenry to look the other way while they and their CABAL live in opulence and near "god-state" and cannot be touched because they are gods on earth. Infact Muamur Ghadafi believes his indoctrination was so complete that at the height of his chase he dare call his people rats and cpokcroaches... actually tha's what they were until their eyes were opend by west, democracy and quest for freedom... Their women for as long as they live wherte subject to playing masquerade from head to toe in that heat...phew.. then something happen, the veil suddenly was blown away and the women saw and tasted FRESH-AIR and they liked it better than their male counter part so they starte inciting their men to Give them FREEDOM instead of bread....they were actually tired of eating bread. They want freedom that no money can buy. MINDSET a state where you are what you were made to think or be... Now Thesame MINDSET played out during our ealier Colonial History when our forefathers thinkl the whites are GODS on earth and cant die. The mindsetr kept them bound as slaves to the whiteman until the outbreak of the 1st and 2nd World War. The Vista was finally clear after the 2nd WW when Blacxk African Soldiers found out that the white can die...... Read this [iece carefully: "Welcome oh children of the stars, children of the shiniong eyes and vanishing teeth, who roars in thunder and kill from far away, I am Odey, son of Offoboboche...." Glossary: Son of the STARS...whiteskin...Shinning EYES..eye-glasses...Roars in thunder...Gun-Powder... At a time we are deceived by a few to carry on a cause on their own behalf. We become so scared that we dare not ask questions...For fear of loosing our daily bread... I believed Adams Oshiomole is regreating the several use these CABAL have turned him intio their prized poker...Now he knows better. Nigeria shine your eyes, lets look below the surface...
